I tried to build my own but to no avail. It just never quite got the job done. So when I saw this on sale at London Drugs, I bought it. They have a good return policy so I figured I might as well give it a try. Even in the darkest of dark rooms, it works great. Well worth the $100. A better woman could've persevered with a home made version, but I don't have much time or patience to work out the kinks. So if you're impatient and frustrated with a lack of good lighting conditions for your product shots, I highly recommend this light box.

This is awesome! I've been wanting one of these and also thought about making one. Thanks for sharing this, I think I'm gonna' have to pick one up for myself.
