What is inspiration? How about this - Lucy McRae and Bart Hess describe their work as "creating future human shapes, blindly discovering low-tech prosthetic ways for human enhancement". Their collaborations are a blend of fashion, architecture and animation that are bizarre, surreal and brilliant.
Bart Hess will be showing during the Milan Design week 09.

this is awesome, i'm very intrigued by the whole project. you're right though, inspiration can come from the strangest things, at times.
